Justin Stootsberry was born in Nebraska and grew up living between Nebraska and Tennessee. He was always playing sports as a youngster but loved soccer and baseball most. He spent most of his childhood on various traveling baseball and soccer teams, playing tournaments every weekend with his friends. Justin continued playing baseball through high school, earning varsity honors for three years as a shortstop, and competed in the 400m dash and high jump as a track athlete. Justin earned various scholarships and grants as an Accounting major at the University of Nebraska, earning a Bachelor of Science in business administration degree with highest distinction, Summa Cum Laude. Following his graduation, Justin went to San Francisco for a busy season internship with Big Four accounting firm PwC, before returning to Nebraska to earn a Master of Professional Accountancy degree, Magna Cum Laude. After finishing his graduate program, Justin accepted a full-time offer from PwC and went to work in the Denver market.

Justin learned the ropes of public accounting and audit while at PwC on a Fortune 500 and Global 500 beverage manufacturing client. Following his work in public accounting, Justin went to work for an enterprise-grade mobile device manufacturer. After gaining experience in private accounting, Justin went to work for a non-profit with a mission very close to his heart. He worked in non-profit accounting for three years, ultimately moving on to the senior leadership team as the organization’s Corporate Controller and head of Finance. In the Spring of 2021, Justin was approached with an opportunity that he could not pass up and transitioned to a Corporate Controller role with Vita Inclinata Technologies.
